When a woman welcomes your tongue, there’s more to it…See more

John, a 55 – year – old accountant, was set in his ways. After a divorce a decade ago, he had become a bit of a loner at work and in his personal life too; his main flaw was his fear of getting hurt again. His backstory was filled with the pain of a long – term marriage that ended in betrayal, leaving him with a deep – seated mistrust of women.

One evening, he decided to attend a local community event at the town square. It was a warm summer night, and the square was filled with people enjoying the live music and food stalls. John stood at the periphery, sipping on a beer from a nearby vendor as he watched the crowd.

Suddenly, he noticed a woman across the square. Her long, chestnut – colored hair caught the light from the string lights overhead as she laughed with her friends; she was probably in her late forties but looked much younger due to her radiant smile and lively eyes that sparkled like sapphires in moonlight when they met John’s gaze for just an instant.

John felt a strange flutter in his stomach, a feeling he hadn’t experienced in years; it was as if a long – dormant part of him had been awakened. He found himself drawn to her despite his better judgment; after all, he had sworn off relationships.

As the night went on, he found himself slowly making his way closer to her. Their paths crossed near a food stall, and he accidentally bumped into her. The touch of her arm against his sent a jolt through him. She looked up at him with a friendly smile that made his heart skip a beat.

“Sorry about that,” John stammered nervously as their eyes locked again. The proximity was intense; he could smell the faint scent of her perfume, a mixture of jasmine and vanilla that was both alluring and comforting at once.

Over the next few minutes, they engaged in small talk. Her voice was soft yet confident, and every word she spoke seemed to draw him deeper into conversation. As they talked, John started to relax more; he even found himself laughing at her witty remarks.

However, his old insecurities started creeping back in. He was well aware that getting involved again could lead to heartbreak, and the thought of it made him want to back away before things got too serious; it was a classic case of disgust versus desire within him as memories of past pain clashed with this newfound attraction towards this mysterious woman whose name he still didn’t know yet called Lily according to one of her friends.

As the event neared its end, John and Lily found themselves walking side by side towards an exit. Their hands brushed against each other a few times, sending electric shocks through both their bodies each time. The tension between them grew palpable; it was a thrilling yet terrifying feeling for John.

The climax came when they stopped under a large oak tree on the edge of the square where the music from the event was just background noise. Lily looked up at John directly in the eyes again, her long lashes fluttering slightly under streetlights’ glow around them.

John felt his resolve weakening; he couldn’t deny his growing feelings any longer. With hesitation in his voice, he said, “I’ve had a really great time tonight.” Lily smiled, stepping closer to him so that their bodies were almost touching.

She reached up and gently placed a hand on his cheek; her touch was soft and warm against his skin. John closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the feeling. When he opened them again, Lily leaned in and kissed him softly on lips making whole world around them disappear for that brief moment.

After the kiss, John felt like all those years’ worth of fear melted away like snow under sunlight ; it had taken courage but finally allowed himself accept this newfound love blooming between them.

As they pulled apart from kiss, both of them were smiling widely at each other. They walked out together hand – in – hand into night as if leaving behind all their past troubles and starting brand new chapter in lives.

The next morning, John woke up with a sense of peace and excitement he hadn’t felt in ages ; he knew that this new relationship would be an adventure filled with ups and downs but was ready to face it head – on along with Lily.
